The
Hillside Nature Trail is a nice little trail that can be hiked in about 10 minutes, or you can take longer if you'd like to smell the roses. It's located within the US Army Corps of Engineers' land at Raystown Lake, in Huntington County, PA.

Raystown Lake is a big flood control project, and much of the areas around it are owned by the feds.
The trail begins by the
visitors' center near Seven Points Marina, and there's a nice bird habitat the overseers have created before the
trailhead, and I spotted a half dozen or so species in about two minutes.
The rest of the trail is what I consider a typical nature trail, and while some people will call it a hike, I think of it as a walk in the woods.
Still, I liked the little trail, and it was a good leg stretcher after the relatively difficult
Old Logger's Trail I hiked the day before.
